Coach Ryan Giberson has been a member of Six Class S State Champion Volleyball teams. The 2018 and 2023 baseball season concluded with a state championship final finish. In 2019 and 2024 Coventry Baseball finished as champions of the NCCC as well as Class S State Champions! In the 2023-24 season Coventry Volleyball and Baseball were both crowned as State Champions. He is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors in Communication, Physical Education, Sport Management and Health. Coach Giberson also holds a Masters Degree in Athletics Administration as well as Educational Leadership. He was a member of the 2002 National Championship Team and has been working/running sports camps since 2001. Coach Giberson is in his 21st season with the Coventry Baseball program and 14th season with Coventry Volleyball. He is also a member of IAABO Board 6 and has officiated many tournament and championship high school basketball games. Coach Giberson was selected as the Head Coach for the 2016 CHSCA Girls Senior Volleyball All-Star Game as well as the Head Coach for the 2017 CHSCA Boy's Senior All-Star Baseball Game. He was also chosen as the 2019,2022 and 2023 NCCC Coach of the Year. Coach Giberson believes in fundamentals, hard work and unselfish play. His players and campers are expected to achieve the goal of daily improvement.
