Coach Ryan Giberson has been a member of Five Class S State Champion Volleyball teams including this past seasons 2017 team who finished with a state championship and an overall record of 25-1. His 2018 baseball season concluded with a Class S State Final finish, the furthest run in over 30 years, and an overall record of 20-6. In 2019 Coventry baseball completed a clean sweep. The were the champions of the North Central Connecticut Conference Regular and Post-Season. They also defeated Shepaug Valley 3-0 to win the Class S State Championship. He is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors in Communication, Physical Education, Sport Management and Health. Coach Giberson is currently pursuing his Master's in Sports Management. He was a member of the 2002 National Championship Team and has been working/running sports camps since 2001. Coach Giberson is in his 17th season (16 Varsity Seasons) with the Coventry Baseball program and will enter his 11th season with Coventry Volleyball. He is also a member of IAABO Board 6 and has officiated many tournament and championship high school basketball games. Coach Giberson believes in fundamentals, hard work and unselfish play. His players and campers are expected to achieve the goal of daily improvement.
